After 10 years popping up around Hong Kong, ice cream maker TEEMTONEfai finally has a permanent location to sell its ice cream and sorbet cups (from HKD50).

On the menu, founder Thomas Fung serves flavours infused with Chinese tea, Sichuan spices, and Hong Kong ingredients, such as the white peach oolong, sea salt green Sichuan pepper, red date & purple rice, watercress honey & young coconut, and ginger tofu pudding.

The store shares a cubby on Sheung Wan’s Upper Lascar Row, neighbouring Chinese antique stores and stalls selling vintage Hong Kong memorabilia.

The shop’s interior is confidently 1980s Hong Kong with its industrial, colonial, old-modern, and office-chic fusion style, complete with a 3D golden dragon wall ornament, a symbol of good feng shui.

TEEMTONEfai has earned a name for its collaborations with hot brands like Longchamp, China Airlines, San Miguel, Chow Tai Fook, PUMA, and Louis Vuitton.
