Many people prefer the ambiance of an exclusive bar. They like to sit and drink the finest rum or the best whisky in peace and quiet – savouring the drink. They don’t wish to be in a venue that’s jam packed with people; it can deter from the overall experience. If this is you, take a look at these top five exclusive cocktail bars in Hong Kong…
Stockton: The Exclusive British Pub
Stockton is one of the most exclusive Wyndham Street bars. You will realize this as soon as you arrive, as it is actually hidden down a dark alleyway. The mysterious entrance really adds to the overall feel of the bar, which is based on the London gentlemen’s clubs of the Victorian era. The secret vibe continues once you are inside of Stockton, thanks to the old-world glamour, intriguing antiques, private corners, vintage furniture and dimmed lights. You can enjoy a wide range of luxurious cocktails that you will not be able to find anywhere else.

Mrs Pound: A Bar With A Remarkable Entrance
You wouldn’t think that Mrs Pound is one of the best bars in Hong Kong by looking at the entrance. From the outside Mrs Pound looks like a traditional Chinese stamp shop. However, once you walk inside of the venue you will soon realize that it is actually a very cool Asian restaurant. You will open a sliding door that will let you into Mrs Pound. This treasure trove has a quirky style to it, with huge mirrors, little trinkets and bright pink booths and walls.

Feather Boa: Member Only Bar
So far we have touched upon bars and restaurants with hidden locations and misleading entrances, but there are a lot of bars that are exclusive because of their member only policy, and Feather Boa is one of these. Nevertheless, the exterior of the bar will also mislead you, as it is somewhat plain and thus gives away nothing about the stunning décor and unique atmosphere inside. The Chocolate Martini comes highly recommended as well.

Finally we have 001, which can be found on Wellington Street. This bar is lurking behind a market stall off the side of Graham Street. The exclusive feel of the entrance carries on once you are inside thanks to the sophisticated vibe. If you like classic jazz music you will love this bar.
