British organic milk provider, Daioni, is now available for retail in Hong Kong. Meaning ‘goodness’ in Welsh, Daioni is proud to call the lush, green mountains of Wales its home. Daioni prides itself on the quality of its organic milk through the combination of happy cows, fertile soil and abundant grass.
Ffosyficer farm, the heart of the Daioni business
A small, family-owned business, Daioni was begun on the Harris family farm in Pembrokeshire, Wales, by Laurence Harris, who has been a dairy farmer for over 40 years. The expansion to Hong Kong is spearheaded by Ben Harris, director of the company and the son of Laurence.

“After witnessing the success of the brand in the UK, it was a natural step to expand internationally and bring the unique taste of Daioni to Asia. Being based in Hong Kong it made sense for me to help lead the expansion and bring the business in the region,” says Ben.
Daioni coming to Hong Kong shelves is great news for mums and milk-lovers alike. As Natalie, wife of Ben says, “it’s hard to find an always-available, trustworthy source of milk. Milk expires in the matter of days, and with the horrid summer humidity, it’s absolutely impossible to stock up. If you’re not one for local milk, you’re aren’t left with many imported brands that are reasonably priced.”
Cue Daioni! Not only is Daioni milk long-life, it’s also pure, organic and of premium quality. Daioni’s organic long-life range includes plain and flavoured milk, which comes in chocolate, strawberry and banana for the young and young-at-heart. 1 litre of organic long-life plain milk, available in whole, semi-skimmed and skimmed milk, will set you back $36, while the flavoured milk, packed in 200 ml cartons, is $15. Daioni also offers organic fresh milk and cream.
Daioni’s organic, long-life milk boosts a 9-12 month shelf life with low fat and sugar content as well as absolutely no artificial additives, making it perfect for the kids. Daioni products are also in full compliance with the Soil Association, one of the largest organic certification bodies in the United Kingdom, and the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC).

It’s been scientifically researched – and proven – the benefits of organic milk are extensive. The nutrient density of organic milk is much higher than of conventional milk. Organic milk is high in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals including calcium and iron. It’s free of chemical contamination too, and besides being healthier, many will agree organic milk is far tastier too.
