Beeger, short for beer + burger, is not the most inventive name but it sure does a good job in capturing the essence of being a beer and burger joint. Only opening its doors in Tin Hau in the fall of last year (EDIT: since closed), Beeger garnered rapid success and very soon opened a second branch down by the quiet waterfront of Kennedy Town.

They are most notably known for their hand-ground beef patties, a specialty known as the Molten Lava Cheese Burger as well as the Crab Cake Burger. They also offer an extensive selection of craft beer, imported from a dozen countries around the globe. The German Acrobrau Radler (mix of lager and lemon flavoured soda), the British Saltaire Triple Chocoholic (chocolate stout) and the Japanese Kagua Rouge (ale infused with yuzu and shanzo) are just a few studs that you would have difficulty locating elsewhere.

Oh, did we mention that the branch in Kennedy Town also has a pool table? Right we did, but having a pool table is just one of those things that you just can’t stress enough.
