Foodie Forks 2017 was held on Monday, 22 May (deliberately chosen for a quiet Monday so that
all the amazing chefs could leave their kitchens for a bit). The event would not have been so successful without our best and brightest sponsors and partners.

Mettā, our venue partner, is an entrepreneur club that provides creatives with networking, communicating and working opportunities. That night at Mettā, we had the opportunity to meet food fanatics while ogling the stunning cityscape.

Our talented host that night was Debbie Wong, a professional actress who is also a foodie. Her passion for food is manifested by her YouTube channel Wok and Gong and her work on Food Network and Asian Food Channel.

Our sponsors quenched our guests’ thirst for quality beverages. Sanpellegrino offered an array of drink choices: S.Pellegrino sparkling natural water, Acqua Panna still natural water and Sanpellegrino Sparkling Fruit Beverages made with fruits from Italy. For alcohol lovers, Jebsen Fine Wines was there with white and red wine from premium international wine brands to amp up the party atmosphere. Kung Kai Hong provided first-class crystal stemware at the party (and in the goodie bags!). 88 Beans filled our bags with their finest coffee beans in classic black packaging. Good gin always brings wide grins, and Food Linkers’ sponsored gin certainly made our prize winners beam in satisfaction.

Our Foodie Forks party was obviously filled with scrumptious food too. Pololi, the first poké eatery in Hong Kong, supplied both traditional spicy and wasabi mayo tuna bowls that were finger-licking good. Everything Organic added a healthy spark to our food celebration with organic food bites like blueberry yoghurt, wholesome nuts, tomato fusilli and more. Their organic items were also gifted in the goodie bags. The hand-rolled, kettle-boiled and stone-baked bagels from Schragels made a nice breakfast after the long party night.

Those with a sweet tooth were more than satisfied at Foodie Forks. Tai Tai Pie Pies not only provided our guests with savoury pastries but also sweet pies. Right next door was Phoenix Sweets, an online artisan confectionery, with their lovely cupcakes. XTC Gelato brought us four exciting mini-cone flavours that attracted a queue of ice cream lovers and also gifted coupons to our guests.

Chef Works has been offering top-notch culinary apparel for 45 years, this time providing our award-winning chefs and mixologists with smart-looking aprons.

The after-party at Stockton, by Maximal Concepts, was at its best with A-1 finger food and drink.

Once again, thanks to all our sponsors and partners who made Foodie Forks 2017 exceptional. We’re already looking forward to Foodie Forks 2018!
