Asia’s first poke chain, Pololi, won hearts and taste buds over when they first launched their protein-packed Hawaiian bowls on Hong Kong’s eager palates back in 2014. Their fast, fresh and mindful meals include over 30 different poke flavours, with six available each day, served up on brown or white rice, salad or any combination of the three. You can also order up the unique Hawaiian Spam™ musubi or grab yourself a beer from Kona Brewing Co.

BLAZED’s Flyin’ High

Now, they’ve expanded their repertoire with two new concepts that are sure to make a splash on the city.

The new concepts exclusive to Deliveroo Editions are BLAZED by Pololi and Kai by Pololi. To continue Asia’s love affair with Hawaiian specialities, Pololi’s founder, Steph Kudus, says, “We’re very excited to be spreading more of the aloha spirit with the two delivery-only concepts, BLAZED by Pololi and Kai by Pololi. BLAZED brings barbecue into the spotlight with its platters that stay true to their Hawaiian roots. On the other hand, Kai allows customers to build their own bowls and is perfect for those who are particular with their food as well as those with strict dietary requirements.”

BLAZED by Pololi brings the Hawaiian luau (party) experience to the people of Wanchai, Admiralty, Causeway Bay, Happy Valley and Tai Hang in partnership with Deliveroo. Grilled meats include the likes of Flyin’ High Chicken, Sticky Icky RibsKiller Sticks and meaty platters served with rice and mac salad – just like the way they do them up in Hawaii. There are also sides like avocado fries and double Spam™ and cheese musubi to round out the meal.Image title

Kai by Pololi is all about creating your own dish to your own preferences with the 50 different ingredients on offer. The vast selection includes kukui nuts, ikura (salmon roe), uni (sea urchin), tempura crunch and mixed seaweed. Tried-and-tested combos for those who like to leave the decision-making to others are also available with Kai’s Surf Grub. Clear favourites include the Avolanche, topped with avocado-mayo sauce and half an avocado, Da Hawaiian Kine, with healthy portions of kani (crab stick) and seaweed salad, and Shakalaka, featuring a traditional Hawaiian relish called inamona.
