Goodbye, wings
We had heard rumblings of Stone Nullah Tavern shutting up shop, but we had closed our ears to it. Now, we can deny it no longer; it’s happening. The good news is, the same fab group behind SNT are still in charge and reimagining the space into another Linguini Fini New York-Italian eatery, going by just Fini’s.
Red Sauce Hospitality own Posto Pubblico, the farm-to-table New York-Italian, and Linguini Fini pizza and pasta restaurant, both in SoHo, as well as newcomer Franks on Wyndham Street. The group are known for their community-focused eateries that are stalwart favourites of Hong Kongers, as well as their long-standing use of local organic ingredients.
Goodbye, mac ‘n’ cheese
Fini’s in Wanchai will be serving up the New York–style pizza from an open-flame hearth and homemade pasta that its Central regulars have come to love, along with a few specials like the new eggplant Parmigiana supreme and a Sunday Supper featuring an antipasti platter, salad and spaghetti with red sauce.
Todd Darling, founder of Red Sauce Hospitality, says,
“We are very excited to showcase Fini’s to loyal customers and new visitors alike. We pride ourselves on delicious food, excellent value and impeccable service. Fini’s will deliver an unforgettable dining experience that will keep people coming back for more.”
SoHo’s Linguini Fini will also change its name to Fini’s and undergo a revamped back patio and decor touch-up.
We’ll miss the crispy chicken wings, mac ‘n’ cheese and PBRs that were constantly pulling us into Stone Nullah Tavern, but we look forward to another spot to get our Linguini Fini fix at Fini’s.
