Arriving right in the nick of time for festive shopping, Fortnum & Mason, which was founded in 1707 in London, will be landing at the soon-to-be-opened K11 MUSEA retail and cultural complex at Victoria Dockside, TST, at the end of September – the British brand’s first flagship in Asia (with a prime spot sandwiched between the newly opened Rosewood Hong Kong and InterContinental Hong Kong – soon to be rebranded as the Regent – to boot).
One of the founders of Fortnum & Mason, William Fortnum, was a footman to Queen Anne, and today, the upmarket shop has two Royal Warrants, supplying the households of both Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles.
So, come this autumn, we’ll be able to stock up on all our fave Fortnum & Mason products, including tea, biscuits, wine and champagne, but even better than this for us is that F&M Hong Kong will also debut an upstairs restaurant in its 7,000-square-foot space – and for those readers who love afternoon tea as much as we do, you’ll know you’re in for a treat. Stay tuned!
