California’s Wine Institute (WI) is dedicating the month of July to celebrating and discovering California wines in Hong Kong. They’re kicking off California Wine Month with a wine tasting of epic proportions – get ready for a tasting that includes over 130 of California’s best Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel! Join Foodie and WI at The American Club on Friday, 5 July 2019 for what is sure to be a memorable and unbeatable wine-tasting journey.
Did you know that California is the world’s fourth-largest wine producer? With over 1,000 wineries and wine-related businesses, you’re sure to find a California wine to suit your taste!
This US state is also one of the leaders in the sustainable wine-growing movement and boasts incredible environmental and economic vitality. The WI aims to introduce Hong Kong to the versatility of these wine regions throughout the month of July, and we at Foodie can’t wait to be a part of this exploration with the Sips of Summer tasting.
Wine lovers will certainly be in their element as they make their way through this tasting of California’s iconic grapes. In a unique tasting experience, the 130+ wines will be grouped by varietal instead of winery in order to truly discover the state’s diversity. Wines will be poured by local sommeliers, who will help to introduce the varietals to attendees. Tasty canapés will be served throughout the event.
