It’s been awhile, Foodie Clubbers! This has been an eventful year (and by no means an easy one), but before 2019 comes to a close, we want to take the opportunity to reconnect with our treasured Foodie Clubbers and catch up with all of you as we head into 2020.

Join us on the evening of Thursday, 12 December for our last Foodie Club event of the year as we look back on 2019 and look forward to a more hopeful 2020, with delectable wines and delicious nibbles in the newly revamped Sohofama space.

We’re giving our Foodie Club members the chance to be some of the first to enjoy this new space. And, of course, in true Foodie fashion, we’ll make sure that there’s great food and drink.

Here’s what to expect:

The venue

Sohofama Hong Kong

Sohofama celebrates traditional Chinese comfort food (think fried rice and dim sum) while also creating a highly sustainable space for urban farming, highlighting the use of locally grown produce. Sohofama is the brainchild of Larry Tang, the founder of Locofama and winner of our Foodie Forks 2019 Editors’ Choice Food Hero award. Situated in PMQ, Sohofama has recently undergone a transformation, now boasting a larger space, beautiful interiors and that same delicious and nutritious food.

The drinks

Caliornia’s Wine Institute

We’ll be serving and sipping on a variety of wines courtesy of California’s Wine Institute. The California region is one of the leaders in the sustainable wine-growing movement and boasts incredible environmental and economic vitality. Oh, and did we mention that the tastings are unlimited? We are firm believers that the only thing better than wine is free-flow wine! You’ll also get a souvenir Foodie wine glass to take home.

The food

Sohofama Hong Kong

Sohofama will be providing us with tasty bites in the form of the eatery’s beloved Chinese-style comfort food. We’re talking salt-and-pepper squid, fried dumplings, spring rolls and more. With eats that are delicious, nutritious and sustainable, both your belly and your conscience will be happy! A selection of vegetarian options will also be available.
