To safeguard the health of its staff and guests, Le Comptoir Group is joining the ranks of many other restaurants around town and taking a pause from service as a precautionary measure as the “second wave” of COVID-19 rages throughout Hong Kong, with plans to reopen on Friday, 17 April 2020.

The Le Comptoir team stated: “… in light of the recent Hong Kong government restrictions, it is clear that collective action is the only way to control the spread of the virus. While it was a difficult decision for us to make, we hope that our proactive choice to temporarily cease operations can help to flatten the curve and minimise the risks for our entire community. During this time of closure, we will be taking actions to industrially sanitise and deep-clean our venues. Together, we are with Hong Kong in this fight to restore health and well-being to our city.”

Le Comptoir Group’s high-profile portfolio includes two-Michelin-starred ÉCRITURE, sushi bar UMI, rooftop bar and restaurant Piqniq, Balinese restaurant Poem, hot-to-trot izakaya Silencio and Japanese-Brazlian bar and lounge Djapa.
