This year, Christmas will likely look a little different for most of us – no trips home to see family, no ski holidays, no Southeast Asian beach breaks. We all need a little extra Christmas cheer these days!
This is where LANDMARK’s fabulous new Christmas market comes in. We had a sneak peek of the market located on the third floor of LANDMARK ATRIUM and were blown away by the festive decor and holiday vibe.
From now until 31 December, stop by to revel in the atmosphere and get some Christmas shopping done, with a collection of booths filled with gorgeous lifestyle items. Naturally, we zeroed in on the F&B-related goodies, but there’s something for everyone on your list this year, from Christmas ornaments by Indigo Living and festive tableware from Town House, to monogrammable leather goods by Italian-made accessories brand Senreve, to the most adorable (food themed!) pet toys from Bark Mall.
For the foodies in your life, however, you’ll be especially spoilt for choice. The highlights for us include the launch of new merchandise from our fave home-grown cookie brand, Cookie DPT, in the form of items such as a chewy chocolate chip baking kit presented in a reusable glass cookie jar and a chocolate-chip-scented candle, and the Hong Kong debut of British’s chocolatier Charbonnel et Walker’s iconic pink champagne truffles.
There’s also an extensive Christmas bottle shop, where you take your pick from the likes of boutique whiskies from The Whisky Library, Dr Fern’s beautiful personalised gin bottles and sake from Sake Central.
But if you do nothing else at the market, make a beeline for Michelin-starred chef Richard Ekkebus’ LMO by Richard Ekkebus’ jolly booth, where he’s offering a collection of 15 different freshly baked goods throughout the duration of the market. New goodies are brought out every two hours to keep us on our toes and may include such delights as organic Amalfi lemon madeleines, vanilla and sea salt financiers, rum-filled canelés and gingerbread cake. Refrigerated mason jars of the chef’s favourite desserts – dark gianduja mousse, crème caramel and more – are available throughout the day.
Even if we’re not buying, we know we’ll be repeats visitors to LANDMARK’s fabulous Christmas market whenever we need a big dose of Christmas cheer.
