What a year 2020 has been… or not been. Adjusting to our “new normal”, The Grounds opened recently in the era of COVID-19 with a unique take on social-distancing entertainment. Set in the outdoor space of AIA Vitality Park next to ifc mall in Central, The Grounds is an open-air theatre featuring private viewing pods enclosed in quaint white picket fences. Pods vary in size and can sit either two or four people, adhering to the social-distancing rules that help to hinder the spread of the virus. The premises are thoroughly sanitised via Raze Technology.
An array of entertainment options is on offer to suit all ages, from family-friendly films and craft sessions, to workout classes hosted by IRIS and Lululemon, to sporting event viewings. Guests can scan the QR code on each pod to order scrumptious snacks of cookies, ice cream and popcorn or delicious full meals from nearby BaseHall or grab a drink or two at the on-site bar provided by Penfolds Max’s.
