Let’s talk about staycation and dining packages that are enticing us out of our hidey-holes. I mean, we’re not going anywhere else for awhile, so let’s explore this great city of ours, support local businesses and get some crazy-good deals while we’re at it.

The Langham, Hong Kong

One of several tempting staycations on offer at The Langham, with the brand celebrating its amazing 155th anniversary in 2020, is Gourmet Moments (from $1,788/night), ideal for foodies. It comes with a $1,400 dining credit (three-starred T’ang Court all the way!) and a gin tasting for two at Artesian along with daily breakfast, a room upgrade and more. Another option, this one available only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, the highlight of Wind in Your Sails (from $1,400/night) is an evening harbour cruise for two aboard red-sailed junk aqualuna, where you can toast the views with a special Langham mocktail. A standalone staycation for those pining for a trip to the Big Smoke, the A Glimpse of London package (from $1,148/night or $1,648/night with $800 dining credit) is highlighted by a 30-minute photo session in two fabulously appointed London-themed rooms: A Trip to London Parks and Pink Afternoon Tea Room. Grand Hyatt’s afternoon tea offering is one of the best in Hong Kong, so if you’re as big a fan as we are, check out the five-star hotel’s Tea & Stay package (from $1,680/night), the pinnacle of which is a lavish Tiffin in-room tea set for two. JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong

The JW Stay Well Dine Well 2021 package (from $2,021/night) at JW Marriott includes dining credits that equal your room rate, so splurge on that suite! This means you could live large with dim sum at Man Ho Chinese Restaurant for lunch, followed by an in-room steak dinner from Flint, ending with champagne brunch at The Lounge.
