Founded in Tuscany over three decades ago by Cecilia Tessieri, women today still rule at premium Italian bean-to-bar chocolate brand Amedei, with mainly female artisans crafting Amedei’s gorgeous chocolates.
To celebrate this sense of female empowerment, just in time for International Women’s Day, Amedei Hong Kong has teamed up with home-grown cookie brand Cookie DPT to launch a brand-new cookie created using one of Amedei’s signature chocolates, Toscano Black 90%, made from a blend of Trinitario and Criollo cocoa beans. Despite its high cocoa percentage, Toscano Black 90% is surprisingly creamy and clean tasting. Even better, dark chocolate with higher percentages of cocoa solids such as Toscano Black 90% typically contains less sugar and more fat, which comes from the cocoa butter.
Like all Cookie DPT’s creations, this new extra-dark chocolate cookie is 130 grams of pure indulgence, slightly crisp on the outside and ooey-gooey in the centre.
The limited-edition Amedei x Cookie DPT extra-dark 90% cookie (from $270 for 4) will be available until the end of March exclusively on this website.
