BaseHall Oktoberfest
For one night only, BaseHall 01 is set to be transformed once again into a vibrant Bavarian beer tent complete with a traditional keg-tapping opening ceremony, stein-holding competition and mouth-watering German-inspired snacks by the food hall’s diverse range of vendors, from Return of Lemak’s potato pancakes with sambal mayo to Smoke & Barrel’s smoked wurst with sauerkraut. A live DJ and oompah band will be on hand with classic Munich bierhall tunes, and local brewery Young Master will be brewing their exclusive Festbier, crafted specially to toast to the occasion.

Central Market Oktoberfest
This grand Oktoberfest event at Central Market is headlined by premier German folk band Die Notenhobler, marking their return to the 852 after five long years. For 19 fun-filled days this month, the heritage building’s open courtyard will be transformed into a vibrant beer garden where authentic German brews (by Löwenbräu and Beck’s) and grub (like pork knuckle, Nuremberg sausage platters and apple strudel) await. And what’s Oktoberfest without games? Stein-holding and beer-drinking contests, giant Jenga and a balloon-pumping challenge will keep revellers on their toes.

CulinArt 1862 x Heimat 4-hands Oktoberfest dinners by Stanley Wong + Peter Find
German-born chefs Stanley Wong of CulinArt 1862 and Peter Find of Heimat are coming together for a six-course dinner menu celebrating their German heritage with refined Oktoberfest fare. Highlights include an elevated version of German street-food fave currywurst, spätzle with raclette and bacon jam, wild boar ragout with venison loin, apple red cabbage and schupfnudeln and Kaiserschmarrn, a dessert pancake served here with pear compote and vanilla ice cream. Instead of wine pairings, diners can expect a selection of fine German beers. And for the first session at CulinArt 1862, guests are encouraged to dress in traditional German gear for the chance to win a bottle of Philippe Prié champagne.

Erdinger x Dockyard Oktoberfest
You have four weekends to make a trip over to Kerry Hotel for this immersive Oktoberfest celebration at Dockyard. You’ll have the chance to down traditional German wheat beers by Erdinger alongside a variety of German bites like currywurst and schnitzel. The digital beer passport is a great way to get the most out of the brews on offer; you can either buy six brewskies and get one free or buy 10 and get two free.

FRITES Oktoberfest
Belgian beer hall FRITES is switching its allegiance to Germany for a third year of Oktoberfest merriment. There are two highly anticipated Oktoberfest events scheduled (one in Central, one in Causeway Bay), with both afternoon and evening sessions on for each. The cost depends on a minimum spend per table, and you’ll be able to indulge in Deutsch delicacies like Bavarian roast chicken, wurst with sauerkraut and pretzel towers, along with FRITES’ regular à-la-carte faves. To wet your whistle, Löwenbräu beer is back on board, available in both steins and barrels. A yodelling contest, stein-pong challenge and beer-downing competition are just a few of the other treats in store.

INK Oktoberfest
German-themed beers and bites, a live band and glorious harbour views are the draws of INK’s al-fresco Oktoberfest experience. Each ticket is inclusive of a wide variety of sharing dishes and two special craft beers by local brewery H.K. Lovecraft – Vienna Amber Lager and King in Yellow Helles. We’re stoked for the array of scrumptious-sounding snacks on offer – homemade pretzels with beer-cheese sauce, potato pancakes with smoked salmon, sour cream and applesauce, currywurst fries, chicken schnitzel and flammkuchen, a traditional German thin-crust “white” pizza topped with onion, smoked lardons, crème fraiche and caraway.

W Hong Kong Oktoberfest dinner buffet with Chef Peter Find
KITCHEN, W Hong Kong’s all-day-dining eatery, is welcoming renowned German chef Peter Find of modern German restaurant Heimat to headline its Oktoberfest-themed dinner buffet. The spread includes classic German dishes like sauerkraut salad, crispy pork knuckle and German sausages alongside Chef Find’s more contemporary creations such as salt-and-pepper crêpes, braised beef in dark beer and almond-lemon-vanilla fish fillet. When it comes to the free-flow option, it’s German brewskies all the way.
