A staple on Hong Kong’s dining scene since its opening in late 2020, Club Rangoon shone bright in Soho by promoting the strength of Burmese cuisine. In early November, the restaurant announced its closure at the end of this month, with a special menu to go out strong.

Club Rangoon’s A Farewell Feast remembers Soho classics and crowd favourites in a lunch and dinner Burmese grill menu that raises a final glass and chomp at Hong Kong’s only operating Burmese restaurant.

In the final two weeks of service at Club Rangoon from Nov. 14 to 25, the restaurant is hosting a two- (HKD148 pp) and three-course lunch menu (HKD178 pp) and shared degustation menu (HK498 pp).

Starters in both menus include Burmese classics Husband & Wife Snack and tohu thoke, while the mains are strong with mohinga, kyet thar hin, and yone pay thay thee kyaw.

For dessert, try the burnt pineapple sorbet or Burmese tea ice cream. Don’t forget to reserve your place for a final dinner at Club Rangoon.
