This special edition of GREEN’s popular afternoon tea collab with GODIVA is dubbed “The World of Astrology”, with the highlight being the array of sweet treats, from chocolate-dipped strawberries to Black Forest chocolate puffs, showcased in the dazzling two-tiered crystal ball. The three-course tea set curated by Executive Chef Danny Ho also includes a trio of starters, a cup of lobster cappuccino and a choice of main course (shout-out to the roasted French quail with GODIVA white chocolate and herb sauce). Alongside each dish, a small piece of chocolate is presented, allowing diners to tailor the amount to their tastes. A GODIVA Hot Chocolate Reindeer and bottomless GODIVA soft serve complete this utterly decadent tea set. What an incredible bang for your buck!

The Park Lane’s Valrhona Chocolate Christmas Tea

Opalys 33% madeleine, Inspiration raspberry and chocolate cream choux, Satilia Lactée 35% chocolate tart, and Guanaja 70% chocolate mousse with mango are some of the choccy headliners, whilst truffled egg salad with caviar sandwich and smoked salmon mousse with salmon roe and sour cream pinwheel delight on the savoury side.

The Ritz-Carlton’s Montblanc Wishing Tree Afternoon Tea

Over Christmas weekend, the lounge-with-a-view at the newest luxury hotel on the block, the Regent, presents a slap-up afternoon tea by Executive Pastry Chef Andy Yeung and Head Chef Rajiv Chowdhoory that is inclusive of two glasses of Sei Bellissimi Bellini in all its peach-tinged glory. On the food front, elegant savouries – such as a foie gras “tree” with ginger-flavoured milk curd and an assortment of creative finger sandwiches – compete with exquisite sweets that include Chestnut (chestnut cream, tangerine compote, meringue) and Raspberry (tonka-bean mousse, raspberry confit, raspberry crisp).
