Renowned French cognac brand Martell is celebrating terroir and historic tastes with a pop-up on Pedder Street in Central from Jan. 15 to Feb. 4, offering a series of cognac cocktails crafted by a wealth of local and international mixologists.
Every Wednesday through Saturday from Jan. 16 till Feb. 3, 13 Hong Kong-based and international bartenders are arriving in Hong Kong to present special-edition cocktails created with smooth Martell Noblige.
Highlights include Philip and Samatcha from BKK Social Club on Jan. 19, Antonio Lai of Quinary in Hong Kong on Jan. 20, Bastien and Tao from Hope & Sesame, Guangzhou, on Jan. 25, Ezra Star from Hong Kong’s Mostly Harmless on Jan. 27, Shelley Tai from Nutmeg & Clove in Singapore on Jan. 31, and Toru Ariyoshi from Tokyo’s Bar Gossip on Feb. 3.
Coinciding with Martell’s “Soar Beyond the Expected” campaign, the pop-up explores the past, present, and future of the brand, with educational workshops on cognac production and exclusive bottles available for purchase.
The House of Martell pop-up will host the unveiling of Dame-Jeanne – La Griffe, a rare cognac decked out in a gold and precious stone sculpture worth an estimated HKD4 million.
