MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong & Macau has announced the return of the MICHELIN Guide Ceremony Hong Kong & Macau on Mar. 14 at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau in Cotai, Macau!

Bringing together chefs and culinary experts from the two storied gastronomical cities, the food scene can rejoice in judging the success of restaurants serving to succeed expectations or place in the prestigious guide.

One week prior to the MICHELIN Guide Ceremony, the beloved Bib Gourmand winners will be revealed to the public, showcasing Hong Kong and Macau restaurants offering “good-quality, good-value cooking”.

According to a spokesperson from the MICHELIN Guide, “The selection criteria for both Bib Gourmand and MICHELIN stars strictly adhere to a global standard upheld by the esteemed team of anonymous MICHELIN inspectors.”

“All establishments are chosen based on the same five key criteria that MICHELIN inspectors utilise all over the world: quality of the ingredients; mastery of cooking techniques; harmony of the flavours; expression of the chef’s personality in the cuisine; and consistency of excellence over time and across the entire menu. Location, decor, service, and available facilities are not part of the selection criteria.”

Stay tuned for further announcements on this exciting event and the MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong & Macau 2024 selection.
