Another jewel in Regent Hong Kong’s sparkling F&B crown, Qura Bar has made a smashing debut at the five-star hotel, with mesmerising views to match.

First and foremost, Qura is a cultivated bar placing the focus on rare and aged spirits and wines from around the world, brought to us by a mysterious figure known as “The Curator”, an intrepid explorer. Bar Manager Gennaro Pucci oversees the impressive beverage programme.

Highlights from Qura’s spirit collection include Uniting Nations #3, a rare blend of Japanese and Scottish whisky traditions, historic Pierre Ferrand “Distilled before 1914” cognac, Fiona Macleod 33 Years by The Character of Islay Whisky Company, and José Arechabala Ron Blanco Arecha, hailing from the golden era of 1960s Cuban rum-making.

Designed by Melbourne-based BAR Studio, Qura’s interior features an enchanting collection of both carefully restored and custom-made furniture and vintage and antique decorative objects, with bursts of colour throughout. The venue is comprised of interlinked drawing room, bar, dining lounge, and cigar spaces.

On the food front, the modern European bistro-style menu presents comfort-food dishes at their finest, from lobster linguine (HKD498) and black truffle porcini risotto (HKD350) to marinated red bell pepper with Santoña anchovies (HKD190) and baby lamb shoulder “Aveyron” (HKD588). The dining lounge also showcases a noteworthy range of caviar and oysters, a roast of the day (HKD428) with sides, and cheese and charcuterie boards.

If all of the above aren’t enough to warrant a visit, Qura also offers an exclusive cigar lounge adorned with de Gournay chinoiserie wall coverings, a green marble fireplace, and Persian carpets. Six renowned cigar brands are on board at the lounge: Cohiba, H. Upmann, Hoyo de Monterrey, Montecristo, Partagas, and Romeo y Julieta.
