Dimple Yuen traded a career in coding for a life dedicated to promoting gin. In 2019, the alcohol aficionado co-founded Two Moons Distillery, Hong Kong’s first home-grown gin distillery making premium spirits.

Crafting a signature dry gin, calamansi-infused gin, and five-flowers tea gin, Dimple is intent on telling the complex story of how gin became the world’s drink, implanting Hong Kong into the global narrative with a local twist. 

Foodie joined Dimple Yuen and co-founder Ivan Chung at their Chai Wan distillery to explore their personal story of promoting Asian botanicals and crafting Hong Kong’s gin spirit.
