When Boston-based ice-cream chain Emack & Bolio’s shut shop in Hong Kong in 2021, we were bereft. We had gone bonkers for the brand’s quirky ice-cream flavours, including Cake Batter, Caramel Moose Prints, and S’moreo, and marshmallow-, cereal-, and sprinkles-coated waffle cones ever since their launch in the city back in 2015.

Well, today we have good news for all you ice-cream lovers out there! This summer, Emack & Bolio’s is back in Hong Kong. Though a brick-and-mortar location hasn’t been announced yet, you can buy four of the brand’s popular flavours on the GracefulBee website

Priced at HKD88 per 437ml pint, HKD320 for a four-pint set, and HKD456 for a six-pint set, the outrageous flavours include Japanese Matcha, Grasshopper Pie (crème de menthe with chocolate chips and Oreo), Serious Chocolate Addiction (chocolate with chocolate chips and fudge chunks), and Deep Purple Chip (black raspberry with white and dark chocolate chips). Delivery is free across Hong Kong, except outlying islands.

We have our fingers crossed for the revival of Emack & Bolio’s shops in Hong Kong in the very near future. As the American brand promised recently on Instagram, “With all your likes, comments, and support, we believe we can continue our relaunch program, work towards our goal, and see each of you in a physical outlet ultimately.”

Now, it’s time to order some ice cream!
