Kellett Island Grocery pop-up has launched in Causeway Bay to showcase Hong Kong’s home-grown food and lifestyle products.

Opened by Fred Cheng, the Hysan Place project is inspired by Kellett Island, which once stood in the middle of Victoria Harbour, before becoming reclaimed owing to the construction of the Cross-Harbour Tunnel. The island was named after British Royal Navy engineer Sir Henry Kellett.

The grocery pop-up, on from now until Feb. 12, 2025, has amassed more than 20 Hong Kong brands to promote local flavours and identities. These include Young Mastery Brewery, Wing Lok Noodle Factory, Aberdeen Toffee, Door Door Bakery, Ser Wong Fun, CS Honey, and The Nutter Company.
