We were impressed with new sky-high pizzeria Vesu Pizza Bar when we checked it out over the summer.

Now, the swanky pizza joint has collaborated with another Aqua Restaurant Group sibling, The Chinese Library, to showcase a trio of new pizzas inspired by beloved Chinese dishes.

The char siu (HKD168) pizza take its cue from Hong Kong’s iconic BBQ pork, complemented by tomato sauce, mozzarella, ginger, and spring onion, whilst we move from land to sea with the il granchio (HKD198) pie, where crabmeat steamed in huadiao wine stars.

The most highly anticipated new pizza for us is the mala chicken (HKD148). This uber-spicy, Sichuan-inspired number is denoted with two chillies on the menu. Its toppings include tomato, mozzarella, chicken, potato, Sichuan peppercorn, onion, bell pepper, and Thai basil.
