With a dress code of flamboyant and flashy, you can kick back with DJ Paul Michael and Spanish flamenco dancing on show. The dinner menu features top-quality tapas like Barca hamachi with Avruga caviar, scallop ceviche and avocado mousse, Spanish red prawn, and pan-seared foie gras, plus a choice of red snapper “Robespierre” or dry-aged M7 Wagyu sirloin for the main course and truffle burnt Basque cheesecake for dessert.

Mott 32

On New Year’s Eve at Castellana, the five-course dinner kicks off with a complimentary glass of Dom Pérignon Brut 2013 champagne, before launching into chef Romeo Morelli’s spread of Piedmont-inspired stunners. Menu highlights include the prawn tartare and lake weed, gold-flecked aged Carnaroli risotto with saffron, and Fassona veal tenderloin with Parmesan sauce – northern Italian feasting at its finest. Diners can expect to enjoy a wide range of Blighty-inspired delicacies, including chef signatures of Scottish razor clam accented with garlic olive oil and fines herbes, steak tartare, Dover sole meunière, and burnt Cambridge cream, the British version of crème brûlée.

Chef Stanley Wong’s festive modern European menus can be savoured in either four or six courses, featuring refined plates such as kelp-marinated hamachi, lobster and butternut squash millefeuille, and mulled wine apple tart tatin. The special holiday cocktail – Bonfire – is a must-order upgrade to the dining experience, made tableside with a blend of chocolate-infused bourbon, hazelnut liqueur, orange bitters, and homemade maple-cinnamon syrup, garnished with a toasted marshmallow for good measure.

Hutong

Hutong is always a glamorous choice for dining, with killer views to match, but on the 31st, the culinary team take the allure up a notch. There are two eight-course menus on offer, varying according to the seating time and ingredients utilised. The late-night menu gives diners the opportunity to gawk at the stunning fireworks display that Hutong’s sky-high location affords. The consistently high-quality northern Chinese dishes range from the early-night menu’s abalone with peppercorn oil and tiger prawn with garlic and pepper to the more luxe grilled Japanese A5 Wagyu beef tenderloin with foie gras and mala lobster spicy tail offered as midnight approaches. No matter which menu you book, you’ll be treated to a crispy dim sum platter to start and mala chocolate mousse with guava sorbet for dessert. If you opt for one of the 120-minute free-flow champagne packages, bottomless sips of sake, Chinese wine, red and white wine, and beer are part of the deal.

Hong Kong culinary institution Jimmy’s Kitchen, back with a bang in 2024 nearly a century after its initial debut in the city, has curated three- and four-course menus for New Year’s Eve dubbed “A Culinary Countdown to Celebrate” in honour of the eatery’s own new beginnings. Displaying the restaurant’s trademark traditional British flair, both menus are highlighted by a flurry of amuse-bouche the likes of Irish oyster no. 1, pork and foie gras pâté en croute, and smoked beef carpaccio. Main course selections include seared duck breast, sea bass with saffron butter, prawn, and creamed potato, and beef tenderloin with roasted bone marrow bordelaise sauce. For dessert, there’s only one British pud to match the indulgence of the preceding courses, and that’s Jimmy’s legendary sticky toffee date pudding

FUMI
