Food-loving social media in Hong Kong is abuzz with a viral creation coming hot out of the bakery of Rosewood Hong Kong.
The Hokkaido custard flan (HKD98) has become the newest fascination for Hong Kongers online, with many raving about its rich, luxurious flavour and texture – along with its high price tag.
The flan is made of a croissant puff packed with a Tahitian vanilla cream filling featuring Hokkaido milk from Japan.
A total of 200 flans are made daily, and they fly off the shelves, with recent orders getting filled up in a span of just two minutes.
