Nearly two years after Eggslut’s arrival in Hong Kong in May 2023, the American sandwich brand is shutting up shop in the city at the end of the month.
With the final day to get your Eggslut sandwiches set for Feb. 23, the brand will be leaving Causeway Bay for now.
According to an announcement on social media, Eggslut has teased at a potential return to Hong Kong in the future.
“Now, we must say goodbye for the time being. When the right moment comes, we will regroup and return, and we hope to see all of your smiling faces once again,” the statement reads.
The brand states that they are “deeply grateful to Hong Kong and to all Hong Kongers for your support. The long queues, the joy on our customers’ faces, and every like and share online – these moments will forever be in our hearts.”
