The 17th edition of the MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong & Macau 2025 ceremony landed in Macau on the evening of Mar. 13, awarding a record 76 restaurants in Hong Kong, three less than the 79 restaurants that claimed star awards at the 2024 awards ceremony.
The 2025 ceremony was hosted at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau for a second year in a row, featuring Hong Kong and Macau’s top chefs and fine-dining establishments, earning deserved recognition for their artistic gastronomy.
TUBER Umberto Bombana, Ami, and Plaisance by Mauro Colagreco have won one Michelin star in the MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong 2025 for the first time. Amber has been newly awarded with three stars.
The Demon Celebrity, Ming Court (Mong Kok), and Mandarin Grill + Bar each lost one star.
The MICHELIN Guide Hong Kong & Macau 2025 awarded the special Young Chef Award to Frankie Wong of Ankôma, presented by AIA. The Service Award was givem to Winnie Zhang of Wing Lei in Macau. The Sommelier Award was bagged by Carlito Chau of Andō.
