The worlds of afternoon tea and cinema collide with the launch of this limited-time afternoon tea at The Langham hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui this month.

Held at the hotel’s elegant lobby lounge, Palm Court, and available from now until Mar. 31, the exclusive teatime collaboration is with the upcoming 18th Asian Film Awards.

The creative tea set is inspired by the art of film coupled with the diverse cuisines of Asia, drawing on the symbolic imagery of mountains and the design of the Asian Film Awards trophy.

On the savoury side, highlighted delicacies include the hamachi tart with kimchi and caviar, Hong Kong–style chicken pie with morels, and Vietnamese rice rolls. Mango pomelo cake, Korean strawberry tart, and black sesame ganache cake are amongst the sweet treats on offer.

To up the ante for film fans, The Langham is giving away 20 complimentary tickets to the 18th Asian Film Awards for selected screenings throughout the promotional period, available on a first come, first served basis.

This cinematic afternoon tea at Palm Court is on offer on weekdays from 3PM to 5:30PM at a price tag of HKD738 for two and weekends and public holidays from 2:15PM to 4:15PM and 4:30PM to 6:30PM at a price tag of HKD768 for two.
