Asura

Thailand’s southern flavours come out roaring at Asura, the family-run restaurant chain’s second out of three locations to open. Manned by former Samsen chefs, their flavours are boisterous and loud, most importantly with their aromatic countryside chicken with rice (HKD108) and Thai-style duck salad (HKD118). The dishes never stray away from familiar tastes in Hong Kong like their crab meat fried rice (HKD138) and stir-fried holy basil with pork on rice (HKD98).

Groundswell

Southeast Asian and Halal flavours come to Kai Tak in the form of Groundswell, a very unique space that combines spice with an opportunity to rip some (artificial) waves on their indoor surfing machine. For food, we recommend going big by ordering their very authentic gado-gado salad (HKD138) Indonesian peanut sauce salad, nasi goreng bebek (HKD168) duck fried rice, Thai garlic lime barramundi (HKD268), and chicken satay (HKD125, 5 pcs).

LUNA

LUNA, also housed in the mega foodie mall of AIRSIDE, offers a rare contemporary Chinese experience to the area, beset with more casual dining spaces. They present their menu with elegance and a refined style with dishes like their popular deep-fried crispy black cod (HKD308), charcoal rack of lamb (HKD268), deep-fried sea cucumber (HKD398), and Luna’s Iberico pork fillet (HKD298). It is one of the area’s only fine-casual dining spaces.

Hungry Tiger Hidden Dragon

Located just feet from the entrance of the Kai Tak Stadium, this ancient Chinese-themed restaurant brings out the vibrancy of food and experiences in the newly-opened sports park. Hungry Tiger Hidden Dragon’s signatures are their spicy yuzu kosho tuna (HKD88), flat iron steak (HKD188), handmade Nagoya cochin dumpling (HKD98), and three yellow chicken (HKD188). This is a good spot to try before a concert or sports match, located just 5 minutes from the stadium gates.

Yonna Yonna Gelato

At The Twins, Yonna Yonna Gelato saw an entrance in late 2024 bringing Okinawa’s native fruit flavours to Hong Kong, including Nakijin watermelon, Chanchan mango, Gold Barrel pineapple, and Katsuyama shikuwasa (Okinawa lime). Their pine & tankan, premium milk, and vegan-friendly Okinawa mango (HKD48 single/HKD58 double scoop) are among their most popular flavours sold at the new shop.

Nisugu

Nisugu features a refreshing blend of Spanish tapas with Japanese influences at their rooftop space at The Twins. Their tapas mentaiko tortilla (HKD88) and garlic edamame (HKD48) exhibits their fusion take, so too with the saikyo miso yaki black cod (HKD248) and soft-shell crab paella (HKD198). You can earn yourself a perfect view of Kai Tak Stadium from the restaurant’s terrace.

The Cipollini Pizzeria

At the ground floor of AIRSIDE, The Cipollini Pizzeria is your casual Italian answer in Kai Tak. Their pizza, offering both thick crusted and thin variants, have brought a name to them since they opened in 2024. Order their margherita (HKD158, 12 inch) or chicken tikka (HKD178, 12 inch) thin crust pizzas if you are sharing, or their mortadelle e burrata (HKD56, 100 grams) for their Roman-style pizza slices.

N+ Burger

The first burger shop in Hong Kong to nurture their own cows in Australia and import quality Angus Beef, N+ Burger first gained fame in Wan Chai before bringing their beefy burgers to Kai Tak. Their signature N+ Classics Original (HKD68), contains their savoury au jus sauce which amps up the salty factor. Their Hottie Chicken (HKD78) is a new item coming to Kai Tak with a grilled chicken fillet and smoky BBQ sauce.

With 22 other locations in Hong Kong, Twelve Flavours’ Kai Tak location offers convenience with only a 10-minute walk from the stadium and a sweet view overlooking the park. A heavy Sichuanese touch comes with their top dishes: stir-fried chicken cubes with red chilli (HKD138), boiled beef slices in hot chilli oil (HKD158), and deep-fried string beans (HKD68). Their dry hot pot is a must when coming here, just make sure you balance it out with their cold dishes
