It’s been 60 years since Pizza Express opened its first restaurant in London. Over the past six decades, the UK pizza behemoth has since expanded to 470 branches around the world, including 20 outlets in Hong Kong.
Pizza Express’ Hong Kong locations are getting in on the brand’s global 60th-anniversary celebrations with a special themed menu and lots of dining deals.
The best deal of all can be had on Mar. 27, Pizza Express’ official birthday, when anyone with the same birth date will be gifted with a free dine-in pizza from the restaurant’s 60th-anniversary series (ID verification is required).
These birthday pizzas include the Queen Margherita (HKD208) topped with a whole burrata, Calabrian Hot (HKD178) with ’nduja, pepperoni, chilli, and hot honey, and Pollo Italiano (HKD188) with chicken, sautéed spinach, and roasted cherry tomatoes on a béchamel and pesto base.
Every Monday through Thursday (excluding public holidays) from Mar. 18 till May 5, Pizza Express is extending the birthday love with HKID discounts. Diners whose HKID numbers contain any two of the digits “1,” “9,” “6,” or “5” can enjoy a 40% discount on dine-in main courses. Those not lucky enough to have these HKID digits can present a discount QR code to get 20% off all dine-in main courses.
There’s one more super anniversary deal up for grabs, this time every Monday through Friday (excluding public holidays) from 2:30PM to 6PM from Mar. 18 till Apr. 17. With this 60-minute dine-in dining offer (HKD98/adult; HKD49/child), customers can dig into unlimited servings of Peking duck pizza, margherita pizza, American pizza, and baked dough balls.
