Hong Kong won big at last night’s (Mar. 25) Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025 awards ceremony, with The Chairman ranking as the number 2 restaurant in all of Asia.

Hosted in Seoul, the ceremony saw seven Hong Kong restaurants land on the top 50 list, including The Chairman (2), WING (3), Caprice (18), Neighborhood (21), MONO (24), Estro (32), and Andō (41).

Chef-owner Vicky Cheng of WING has won the peer-voted Inedit Damm Chefs’ Choice Award.

These seven high-performing Hong Kong restaurants join six others in the city from the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 51–100 list to amass a record total 13 Hong Kong restaurants placing on the top 100 list.

The Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list is voted by a 350-plus academy list of chefs, critics, authors, restaurateurs, and other Asia-based experts in gastronomy across 21 cities in the region.
