The new LMO Freshly Baked outlet at LANDMARK in Central is now serving up a range of limited-time items by acclaimed restaurants around town as part of the upscale grab-and-go brand’s new accessible and affordable Tastemaker series.
LMO Freshly Baked founder Richard Ekkebus, the culinary director of The Landmark Mandarin Oriental (and winner of our very own Foodie Forks 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award), has partnered with five of Hong Kong’s foremost culinary icons for the series.
From now until September, customers can stop by the LANDMARK branch of LMO Freshly Baked to pick up sandwiches, soups, salads, and pies crafted by one of these five restaurants, each putting a unique spin on classic lunchtime eats.
First up this month, available until 31 May, is Hong Kong’s famed izakaya Yardbird, dishing out the likes of Yardbird Caesar salad (HKD88), chicken schnitzel sandwich (HKD88), and three-yellow chicken meatball soup (HKD58).
Each of the next four collaborations will run for a four-week period, with Bar Leone up in June, followed by The Chairman in July, TATE Dining Room in August, and Little Bao in September.
For every Tastemaker item sold, HKD10 will be donated to support local mental-health charity MINDSET, adding a feel-good element to the series.
