Thai Pai Dong is crossing the harbour to Central to open a second restaurant in Hong Kong this June, embracing a “Hooters-style” bar and restaurant concept that’s typical in Bangkok.

The newly awarded Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant in Jordan opened in October 2024 with a menu exploring Thai street food.

The restaurant’s new Soho location will open alongside the Central–Mid-Levels escalators opposite Bakehouse on Staunton Street.

Expect the same great signature plates familiar to foodies in Jordan, this time with more seafood dishes, a dessert and satay BBQ takeaway section, and a focus on banana roti and fruit slushies.

After 9:30PM, the restaurant will amp up the energy with lights, music blasting, alcohol flowing, and dancing.

Thai Pai Dong is expected to soft-open in Central in mid-June.
