Lin Heung Lau is gearing up for the opening of their fourth location at Hong Kong International Airport, replacing a fixture of the departure hall.

Hoarding has been installed at the site of the former Maxim’s Jade Garden site in Terminal 1, advertising the imminent arrival for one of Hong Kong’s most popular dim sum brands.

Their airport location is expected to open in early summer with more than 300 seats over 13,000 square feet of space.

The brand’s classic push carts and traditional teahouse design elements are expected to add to the spectacle in the dim sum restaurant, open in the Terminal 1 restricted dining area for passengers departing.

The news comes as Lin Heung Lau moves to their new Sheung Wan location on Des Voeux Road Central today (May 11), following 46 years serving yum cha in Central. Lin Heung Lau opened two branches in 1926 in Central and Mong Kok, with the former moving into their now-former Wellington Street location in 1980.
