Five Guys will no longer be serving its customisable burgers and endless fries in Causeway Bay with the closure of its shop there this week.

The American fast-food chain moved into the shopping area in the spring of 2021, reportedly paying HKD670,000 a month for 6,700 square feet of space on Russell Street.

Information about Five Guys’ Causeway Bay location has been removed from its website, all but confirming the closure.

Five Guys first arrived in Hong Kong in November 2018, opening a shop in Wan Chai. Sensing competition in a local burger price war, the chain launched a HKD99 small hamburger, fries, and drink combo in December 2025.
