ThongSmith’s sweet business arm is coming Hong Kong’s way this summer as the city prepares for more sticky, sweet, and fruity snacks in Wan Chai.

ThongSweet Siamese dessert bar, the sister shop to Thailand’s universally adored boat noodle chain, is set to imminently open its doors in Hong Kong, according to the Hong Kong team who operate the brand’s first overseas store.

Specialising in shaved coconut ice desserts and heaving plates of fried banana fritters, ThongSweet is due a visit for a takeaway sweet snack following your boat noodles enjoyed next door.

Expect a menu of icy summer coolers, desserts already on the ThongSmith menu, and new sweet items that match Hong Kongers’ sugary preferences.

ThongSweet operates in three locations across Bangkok, compared to more than two dozen locations of ThongSmith in Thailand’s capital.
