For us this summer, we are earning a fair share of both egg tarts (in this case, pasteis de nata) and gelato. The newest arrival in the addictive former camp is London’s artisanal pasteis de nata brand Santa Nata.

London has gone mad for these pasteis de nata, carefully produced using custom-made equipment to create their signature flaky and crispy tart shells with a light lemony and cinnamon-y creamy custard.

At the Hong Kong store, pasteis de nata (HKD14) is sold in boxes of two, four, or eight, with pao de deus (HKD25), a desiccated brioche coconut bun, complimenting the eggy bite. More than a dozen caffeinated beverages are offered to pair with your pastries

Santa Nata operates six stores in the British capital, two in the Middle East, and one in Istanbul.
