The countdown is on for the Foodie x r é n In the Kitchen Charity Night on Sep. 2, a night of culinary revelry and excellence, featuring a six-course menu at the centrepiece designed by eight leading Hong Kong-based chefs.
At The Mira Hong Kong, the charitable occasion welcomes guests to indulge in top gastronomy and raise funds for r é n Community Foundation, supporting disadvantaged young people in Hong Kong with work opportunities in the food and beverage and hospitality industry.

TATE Dining Room Mignardises trolley
TATE Dining Room’s Mignardises trolley holds a mythical status for diners since its introduction in 2020. Designed by LALA CURIO design boutique with its bespoke Chinoiserie design, chef Vicky Lau’s house-made mignardises of chocolates, fortune cookies, and mini pastries shone bright in the dining establishment.

r é n art piece commissioned by Man Hong
r é n beneficiary Man Hong will join hands with a Hong Kong artist Melissa Bui during an intimate workshop to produce an artwork inspired by his life experience. A key member of the r é n beneficiaries, Man Hong is adept at bringing his emotions to the page with bouncy colours.
Guangcai porcelain pieces presented by 嶺南國畫廣彩陶瓷研究會
The Hong Kong-based 嶺南國畫廣彩陶瓷研究會, founded by 劉致遠 in 2016, presents three exceptional Guangcai pieces which enshrine the ancient practice of Lingnan porcelain artistry. Available are one-of-a-kind pieces – a covered teacup, a vase, and a gourd porcelain dish. The roots of this Society date back to 1903 with master Liu Qunxing, a skilled expert of traditional Lingnan-style painting unto Guangcai porcelain. In 1915, he was awarded a gold prize at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition, an international distinction of his Lingnan porcelain artistry.
