Cheffe Vicky Lau’s TATE is opening its doors at a new Sheung Wan address after seven weeks of absence and rebuilding.

Reopening for reservations beginning Aug. 14, the two Michelin-starred fine-diner arrives at a modern and mystical Chinese-designed space on Luk Ku Road in Sheung Wan.

At the centre of the restaurant’s newest iteration is ceramic and porcelain art, fashioned by artists from Hong Kong, Jingdezhen, China, Japan, South Korea, France, and the U.S.

An eight-course dinner “Porcelain Menu” (HKD2,880 per person) opens the new chapter at TATE, continuing Vicky’s ‘Ode to Ingredients’ dinner series with ingredients shining through her French-Chinese lens. Lobster, crab, scallop, pigeon, abalone, and century egg feature in odes on the menu.

TATE is open Tuesday to Saturday for dinner service.
