A truly intimate dining experience can be had at Chef’s Room, a new dining concept at Upper House Kong set within the private space of the hotel’s Salisterra restaurant.

The 10-seat chef’s table is overseen by chef Ricardo Chaneton of Michelin-starred MONO, who also serves as culinary adviser to Salisterra. Here, chef Ricardo invites guest chef peers, both local and global, to join forces with him to design collaborative menus or use the space as their own personal culinary studio for a limited time.

Up first with a price tag of HKD980 per person is a residency by chef Max Levy, “Max Max Pizza Pizza.” Though we don’t have specific menu details, we’re told that the inventive pizza pies crafted by chef Max will reflect “his 25 years as a sushi chef and advocate for the Slow Food movement.”

For the time being, bookings at Chef’s Room can be made every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from Mar. 11 till May 1, with a single seating each evening at 7PM
