The two-week dining programme welcomes seasonal and limited-edition menus, discounts on Spanish wine and produce, community events, and parties galore!
Eat Spain Drink Spain returns this year in an initiative led by Food and Wines from Spain in collaboration with the Spanish Commercial Office in Hong Kong & Macau and Alimentos de España.

1. Eat Spain Drink Spain special menu at 22 Ships

At PMQ’s star-studded 22 Ships, a special two-week menu (HKD1,378 for two persons) arrives with a wine-paired tapas menu promoting the finest of Spain’s wines, including a blanc de blanc Pendés 2023 paired with pan con tomate, la montesa Garnacha 2021 joining a black octopus paella, and 22 Ship’s homemade patxaran capping the meal with Basque cheesecake.

2. Special tasting menu at Chueca
Chueca’s lunch and dinner tasting menu (HKD580 per person) exclusively designed for Eat Spain Drink Spain packs Spain’s finest tapas selection in a seven-course menu, including tapas tuna tartare, Ibérico ham & tomato bread, and padrón peppers. Main dishes consist of Ibérico pork and sea bass & chorizo, or the two-person main carabinero rice (+HKD20 per person) and USDA rib-eye (+HKD20 per person). Dessert is either a flan de nata or Basque cheesecake. Tables of three or four guests can enjoy a complimentary bottle of house red or white wine when ordering this tasting menu.

3. New Spanish lunch menu at AMMO

AMMO, the cavernous and glitzy European restaurant located inside the Asia Society Hong Kong Center, is offering a three-course lunch menu (HKD328 per person). The menu opens with the picquant ama ebi croquette with spicy mayo & orange, followed by a brothy Spanish seafood stew “ramen” with Zarzuela de Mariscos and an irresistible Basque burnt cheese cake. 4. Happy hour deals at El Cerdo
Tapas and paella experts El Cerdo perched at the top of Soho come to Eat Spain Drink Spain with a buy one get one free happy hour promotion for Spanish beers Inedit Damm and Inedit Damm Rosé. Available all day, each 720ml bottle costs HKD168. If you are free on Sep. 24, El Cerdo is hosting the Catalan Inedit night, supplying two complimentary bottles of Inedit Damm for diners enjoying Catalan dinner set menu (HKD688 per person).

5. Spanish sharing menu at Casa 218

Causeway Bay’s tapas spot Casa 218 joins the Eat Spain Drink Spain fold this September with a new sharing menu (HKD588 for two persons) bringing quality value to customers. Two diners can enjoy two starters, a seafood & chorizo paella, and churros to share, with two drinks to wash everything down with. 7. Spanish wine-pairing menu at Rustico

Rustico in Lai Chi Kok is joining boutique Spanish wine importer La Llotja Vins for a wine-pairing dinner menu available during the whole length of Eat Spain Drink Spain. The pairings include a Soplo 2024 with a pepito de titaina del cabanyal (HKD88) brioche sandwich with tomato, tuna, and green pepper sauce, Soplo Blanco 2023 with all i pebre de lubina (HKD88) seabass stew, and La Forcalla de Antonia 2023 and torra de xulles (HKD128) grilled milk-fed lamb chops.

8. Barbadillo experience menu at El Vaso de Oro
El Vaso de Oro welcomes diners to mark Eat Spain Drink Spain with the Barbadillo Experience, a five-wine-paired dinner menu (HKD428 per person) featuring a spread best representing dishes and wine from the ancient port city of Cádiz, Spain. 9. New Spanish cocktails and drinks at Eyebar

Come for the quality skyline view at Eyebar and stay for new additions to the rooftop bar per Eat Spain Drink Spain. Fresh on the menu for the two-week programme is the top Celler Kripta Franc Cava (HKD128 by glass, HKD640 by bottle), a yzaguirre vermouth negroni (HKD128), and white sangria (HKD108 by glass, HKD308 by jug).
