ComplexCon is bringing Family Style Food Fest to Asia for the first time this November to Hong Kong.
The global streetwear, music, and culture festival first introduced Family Style Food Fest in the States as an independent brand under the Complex umbrella to celebrate all things (trendy) food. Previous editions have been held in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, New Orleans, and Oakland, California.
Hosted in Hong Kong on Nov. 28-29, the two-day food festival will unite culture-forward food brands across the city in one space – a space of which we have no details of yet.
No location, partnering brands, and ticket prices have been made public, but a blind bird two day VIP zone package (HKD1,388) is now on sale.
The package includes admission to the event, one exclusive cocktail or mocktail per day, two exclusive food items per day, one complimentary Family Style merch item, fast-track for the merch store, 30 bite tokens for redeeming food, worth HKD600, and a place at the pre-event Sunday brunch “presented by a celebrated chef and tastemaker”.
General admission tickets for their New York edition in July sold for USD40 (~HKD313).
If we can gather anything from their Stateside festivals, we can expect dozens of local food brands, streetwear brands, and live music.
Complex has welcomed throngs of fashionistas to Hong Kong since 2024 with ComplexCon’s first international edition hosted outside the States.
In 2025, ComplexCon Hong Kong introduced a mini-version of the Family Style Food Festival with 22 brands and restaurants serving food, include Lee Kum Kee, Ho Ming Kee, Chachawan, and After You Dessert Cafe.
2026 witnessed international collaborations with local brands like LaPatPat X Messina and Patty Smashers X Birria Y Birria, with Devil’s Tea, Asahi, and Mak’s Beer coming on board for a boozy plus.
