With hairy crab season in full swing around town, The Pizza Project is jumping on the bandwagon with a few dishes that go beyond the usual steamed whole hairy crab and hairy crab xiao long bao.

The pizzeria’s hairy crab pizza (HKD298) is the justified star of this crustacean carnival. The East-meets-West pie features a base of fior di latte topped with rich, umami hairy crab roe. From now until Nov. 30, this pizza can also be ordered as part of the set menu for an extra HKD58 for lunch and HKD98 for dinner.

An inventive starter, the crab montanara (HKD130) is a deep-fried dough bite made with crab, burrata, basil, and tomato. Like the pizza, it can be ordered as part of the set menu for an extra HKD20 for lunch and dinner.

To end your Italian-Chinese fusion feast, The Pizza Project is offering the zingy ginger lemon cup (HKD98), a mélange of ginger gelato, candied ginger, and lemon-infused whipped cream. There’s no additional charge for this dessert as part of the lunch and dinner set menus.
