The arrival of muggy weather in Hong Kong also marks the onslaught of the Rugby Sevens. One part sportsmanship, one part spectacle, with plenty parts of drunken mayhem thrown in, the Sevens has always been about watching sweaty muddy guys battle it out while cheering in the stands wearing outrageous costumes.
Ticket prices are getting steeper, but we’ve heard that FRITES is making the post-game celebrations a little lighter on the wallet with their offer of FREE beerto any Rugby Sevens ticket holders. From April 7th to 10th, all FRITES branches will be offering free glasses of Stella Artois with every main course, and we’re guessing this will be make the Causeway Bay venue, located near the Hong Kong Stadium, a very popular hangout.
There’s also Happy Hour every weekday from 3pm to 7pm, where all drinks are 50% discounted.
