Your parents have probably told you at some point in your life to stop playing with your food. Well, trying to pick all the carrots or celery from your dish is one thing, but it’s another story when you create masterpieces from them. This mother of two is not only a great cook, but also an immensely creative food artist. It all started when Samantha was pregnant with her second child. She thought that if she made the food look fun and appealing, her eldest daughter will be able to eat independently while she took care of her youngest child. A lot of her food art is inspired by popular cartoons and movies.

Ida Skivenes is a Norwegian food artist who likes to make healthy and cute food art. Furthermore, she has also written a book that is a crossover between a cook book and an art book which features all the behind-the-scenes of her food art and instructions on how to make some of them.
