Modern izakaya AOAO ushers in a new light to Hong Kong’s nightlife space with a fusion of two spaces in Central to present the best of Japanese cuisine, partying, and mixology.
AOAO’s 5,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant offers a unique experience with modern Japanese sharing plates and delicately crafted cocktails. The 3,000-square-foot indoor space features a lively bar area and main dining room adorned with handcrafted resin wall art, glowing in shades of green that represent the lush outdoors.
Guests can unwind in the airy outdoor area at AOAO, sipping on handcrafted cocktails and immersing themselves in DJ beats. The cocktail menu presents Japanese-inspired creations, such as the tangy Hutton Jadeite (HKD158), bringing forward a blend of Johnnie Walker Black Label whisky and peach green tea, and the delightful and captivating Lily Safra (HKD148) with strawberry-infused Campari.
We also recommend the effervescent Crown of the Andes (HKD168), an intoxicating mix of vodka, Giffard green melon liqueur, kiwi, caramel, lemon, and milk. Blooming Beauty (HKD138) shows off the strength of sake with a touch of fizz.
