Sugar’s The Great Gatsby Gala
Head into the roaring 1920s in Taikoo Shing at Sugar’s The Great Gatsby Gala, a themed party with a fun winter cocktail selection, alongside great live DJing from Get Groovy. Soak into Sugar’s homemade mulled wine to end the festive season, before sipping on chai hot cocoa, featuring pours of chai and Bulleit bourbon. Stronger flavours come with the oden soup, mixing ETSU Ocean gin, sake, and Dover shiso liqueur with yuzu and fish-cake soup.

Smoke & Barrel’s Bourbon Street New Year’s Eve party
Smoke & Barrel’s New Year’s Eve bash – this year themed after a mysterious black-and-white masquerade ball – is an epic one, beginning with dinner and drinks from 7–11PM, followed by all the N’awlins-style party action till the wee hours. The menu features canapés such as Southern fried cauliflower and Washington State oysters, starters of fried Alabama chicken bites and seafood cocktail, a choice of main (we like the sound of the honey- and maple-smoked pork spare ribs) with down-home sides, and decadent desserts. Another Tsim Sha Tsui contender with to-die-for-views, highlights of Aqua’s Italian-Japanese fireworks menu include champagne and white truffle risotto with Castelmagno cheese and grilled Wagyu beef tenderloin and foie gras with shiitake yakiniku sauce. Post-dinner, from 9PM, make a beeline for the rooftop to groove to DJs and mesmerising performances. Party-goers will have the chance to knock back free-flow Veuve Clicquot champers till the clock strikes midnight.

LPM’s Midnight in the French Riviera New Year’s Eve party
Ring in 2024 in chic French-Med style at LPM’s immersive New Year’s Eve experience, transporting guests to the Côte d’Azur on the last night of the year. For dinner, the restaurant’s impeccable à-la-carte dishes await, including celebratory specials such as a grand seafood tower, crab risotto, whole grilled sea bass, and pear clafoutis with cinnamon ice cream. On the 31st, Grand Hyatt Steakhouse is set to transform into Maison Rouge for an uninhibited night of pure decadence.
