The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, a pinnacle of luxury hospitality in Hong Kong, has teamed up with fashionista Vivenne Westwood to launch the Vivienne Westwood Blooming Elegance Afternoon Tea (from HKD518 pp) in celebration of the British fashion house’s new Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
Inspired by mountain vistas from the Austrian Alps, Vivienne Westwood’s latest collection fuses black-and-white motifs with Austrian floral patterns, reflected throughout the visually stunning afternoon tea set.
Available for dine-in from Jan. 8 to Mar. 31 at Café 103 at The Ritz-Carlton, the spring tones of the Vivienne Westwood collection are matched with vibrant sweet treats, pastries, and sandwiches.
Salty delights begin with the ocean prawn in chrysanthemum jelly dome with mini cake, blending the flavour of chrysanthemum tea with a tinge of English tea tradition, along with an added scone. Don’t miss the beef pastrami with horseradish tartlet and raspberry cream for a complementary fusion of tart raspberry and smoky beef.
Desserts include the Southeast Asian creamy bite pandan and coconut verrine and white chocolate mousse with strawberry sakura, which introduces Japanese elements to the set.
The Vivienne Westwood Blooming Elegance Afternoon Tea is available daily from 3:15PM to 5:15PM. The tea set costs HKD518 for one person and HKD818 for two people on weekdays; on weekends and public holidays, the cost is HKD548 and HKD868 for one or two people.
